We turned the fabric of our broken umbrella into a rain poncho for Connie, or doubles as a skirt for Jemima. Reuse, repurpose, recycle! What do you think? It will be well used in the dress-up box at least!

My daughter Connie is very proud of her two new dolls she painted all by herself - and so am I! Now she's letting her little sister play with them while she paints a boy doll. Such a fun holiday activity for kids, and a way to recycle dolls, as well as a great opportunity to discuss issues about self identity, diversity and body image.
